Mustang Trekking
A trek in the Upper Mustang is highly rewarding with intact Tibetan cultural immersion opportunities, awe-inspiring Himalayan scenery, colorful eroding landscapes and mystic monasteries older than those of Tibet.
The medieval walled city of Lomanthang is now connected by motorable road. But there are less travelled alternative trekking routes connecting charming remote villages, highland Yak pastures and cave monasteries.
While it is possible to avoid roads and trek to Lomanthang, the territory east of Kali Gandaki River is still wild.
