Trekking is the best way to explore Nepal Himalayas. Many Himalayan valleys are only accessible by foot. Beaten trails walked by traders, locals and shepherds connected corners of Nepal with foothill towns, accessed by roads and air strips. Teahouses accommodated travelers.
Since trekkers accessed these valleys in 70es, teahouses have improved to comfortably accommodate westerners and cater to their taste. Trekking in Nepal is walking for multiple days to base camps or Himalayan view points, staying in teahouse run by locals. Some remote treks are done with the help of camping crew.
